Though, hold your savings and Christmas bonuses just yet, as we still have almost two years of waiting as the most anticipated furniture store will be open end of 2020.

“The IKEA vision is to create a better everyday life for the many people, so we are excited to be bringing our offer to a country where millions of people share our passion for home,” said Christian Rojkjaer, the Managing Director IKEA Southeast Asia, owner of IKEA stores in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. “We have around 9,000 well-designed, functional home furnishing products that can help people make everyday life at home a little better. All at an affordable price!”

Meanwhile, SM Prime President Mr. Jeffrey Lim shared: “The continuous development in the Bay Area, primarily in the MOA Complex, proves the merit of the vision we had more than 10 years ago when we launched SM Mall of Asia. The addition of this new mixed-use facility, and the entry of the world-renowned brand IKEA, complements the integrated lifestyle we dreamt for the MOA Complex. This is in line with our commitment to provide world class amenities and convenience to the growing community in the Complex, as well as for the rest of Metro Manila and neighboring provinces.”

The first Philippine IKEA Store will house a two-level shop area, a large warehouse, an e-commerce facility and an integrated call center. When the store opens at the end of 2020, millions of people in Greater Manila will also be able to shop online and get orders delivered direct to their doors.

This project will be built on Block 4 of MOA Complex, bounded by SM Mall of Asia in the north, MOA Arena in the east, MOA Arena Annex in the south and SMX Manila in the west. There will be link bridge ways connecting it to nearby developments.
